Awarded a Centrally Administered Doctoral Fellowship for PhD by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi.

Conferred upon Prof. N.P.Aiyyar Young Geographers Award-2008 for the Best Research Work at 30th Indian Geography Congress on December 19-21, 2008 held at University of Allahabad under the aegis of National Association of Geographers, India (NAGI.) 

Awarded a Global Scholar Exchange Programme by Bath Spa University(BSU), United Kingdom for developing mutual research and teaching relationships with HPU(India) for a period of 3weeks (31-10-2014 to 19-11-2014).
