1. The Department is planning to start P.G. Diploma in Translation Studies.

2. The Department plans to run pre-examination Remedial Classes for SC/ST and handicapped students to help out the weaker sections of the society.

3. Approximately 50 Ph.D. students will be awarded their Ph.D. degrees in the year 2016.
