Er. Rahul Prashar is working as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Civil Engineering in University Institute of Technology, HPU Shimla. He has completed his M.Tech degree from Jaypee University of Information Technology. He has more than four years of teaching experience and around two years of research experience at NIT, Hamirpur. His research areas of interest are Smart city, Green and affordable housing, Labour productivity and Sustainable construction.

Presently, he is the coordinator of new building construction of UIT and a member of village adoption committee. He is the In-charge of Placement Cell of UIT and NCC coordinator of UIT, HPU Shimla.
