In order to sustain the development and keep the University in the forefront of providing quality  education and research, the following are envisaged.

• Strengthen IT infrastructure particularly in the areas of Security and mobility
• High Performance Computing and wherever feasible harnessing Cloud
• Promotion of  e-learning services
• Promotion of Best Practices such as :Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) wherever feasible, Green Computing, National Knowledge Network resources
