INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WELFARE

Established in the year of 2015, the office of the Director of International Students Welfare works under the direct control of the office of Dean Students Welfare. The Director International Students Welfare look after the overall welfare of the International students and work as an interface between foreign nationals and other agencies.The Director of International Students maintain close hookup with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) which financially support cultural institutions across India. There are 2-10 supernumerary seats reserved in each department for foreign nationals according to the eligibility and number of seats in the departments. The students who wish to join any of the Teaching Departments/Colleges affiliated to the H.P University can apply through two channels.

3.      Study In India 

The Study in India is a project of the Government of India under the aegis of the Ministry of Education. The flagship programme was launched on the 18th of April, 2018. Foreign students applying to the SII programme get the opportunity to avail of financial assistance in the form either Study in India Scholarship or Fee Waiver.
