Dr. Swati Singh is presently working as an Assistant Professor (Electronics & Communication Engineering) in University Institute of Technology, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, India. She has done her B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering. She specializes in the areas of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Digital Image Processing, Agriculture based Image Processing and Biomedical Image Processing. She has more than nine years of teaching and research experience. Presently she is also working on an agriculture based project and guiding Post graduate and Doctoral students.

She has filed 5 patents in the field of Image Processing, Machine Learning and Mechatronics and published more than 25 research papers and articles in reputed National & International journals and conferences. She also acts as reviewer of different national and international journals. In addition to teaching, she is also the coordinator of Complaint Redressed Cell and Web Resources in UIT.
